A Slayer tour with Lamb Of God, Anthrax, Behemoth and Testament is being rumored following a report of a leaked date by Lambgoat. The purported date is June 4, 2018 in Reading, Pennsylvania at the The Santander Arena. Lambgoat concluded their report by saying, “Expect a formal announcement very soon.”
If true, this could easily be one of the largest, most significant tours of the rock/metal world (and beyond) in 2018. Slayer most recently released their 12th studio album, Repentless, in 2015. The album debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard Top 200, selling 49,000 traditional units.
Lamb Of God album released their most recent full-length album, VII: Sturm und Drang, in 2015. It debuted at No. 3 on the Top 200 chart and sold 47,000 traditional units. The latest Anthrax album, For All Kings, also debuted inside the top 10 at No. 9. Both Behemoth and Testament have been working on material for their new albums.
