Dave Mustaine Dispute With Metallica Halts Release Of Special Album

Dave Mustaine has opened up about a dispute with Metallica that has reportedly halted the release of a special album of rare demos that the band recorded in the early 80’s that included the Megadeth frontman.

When asked on Twitter about the “No Life Till Leather” demo, Mustaine (seemingly sarcastically) spoke about Lars Ulrich’s crediting decisions.

This opened up a can of worms online, leading Mustaine to explain himself further.

“James contacted me 2 years ago. We were going to officially release the ‘No Life Till Leather’ demo as a record, w/27 tracks, pics, the whole enchilada, and the talks broke down because Lars wanted credit on two songs I wrote every note and word to. I have the texts. I passed.”
