Justin Timberlake Is Singing Backup Vocals For Dave Grohl On The New Foo Fighters Album

Justin Timberlake is apparently a big fan of the Foo Fighters. Dave Grohl revealed that JT actually asked him to be on the new record, even if his role was small.

He tells Rolling Stone: “We’d drink whiskey in the parking lot,” Grohl said. “He was really, really cool. Then the night before his last day, he says, ‘Can I sing on your record? I don’t want to push it, but – I just want to be able to tell my friends.’ ” So the band had him add some “la la la’s” to one track. “He nailed it,” Grohl says. “I’m telling you – the guy’s going somewhere.”

Grohl doesn’t specify what song he will be singing his parts on, so you’ll have to wait until their album Concrete and Gold comes out on September 15th.
