Chris Cornell Cause Of Death Revealed

The cause of death for Chris Cornell has been revealed after an investigation conducted by Detroit police. Early this morning, Cornell was found dead in Detroit at 52 years of age. He had just performed a show in town.

Police have revealed that Cornell’s cause of death was “suicide by hanging” and reveal he was found dead in his hotel bathroom.

Chris’ wife Vicky became concerned when she couldn’t reach her husband after the show. She contacted a friend of the family, who found him dead inside of his room.

Here’s more: “Police say Cornell’s wife called a family friend and asked him to check on his well-being. The friend forced opened the door and found Cornell on the bathroom floor, according to police. We’re told Cornell was pronounced dead on the scene.”

Cornell’s rep called his death “sudden and unexpected” at the time that he announced his passing.

In the past, Cornell has stated he was a “daily drug user at 13”. He has gone to rehab but relapsed over the years, according to TMZ.

Cornell was 52 years of age.
