Ghost frontman Papa Emeritus III took what could have been a devastating dive off of the stage during the band’s performance last night at the O2 Academy in Leeds.
Papa was launching into the band’s hit “Mummy Dust” as he leaned into the crowd. He quickly slipped off of the stage and was able to land in a safe position on the ground. Staff rushed in to make sure he was okay and he quickly hopped back up while having a laugh.
As only the frontman of Ghost can do, Papa quickly recovered and hopped up onto the barricade to sing the song with the audience. The video of the ordeal was posted online.
Be careful Papa. We need you to have a long and healthy career.
